Hi – I’m David Pape, a composer and sound designer, and my favourite thing is blurring the line between the two: a number of my projects involve creating music from sound effects, or writing music that maps closely to the action on screen, creating a dialogue between music and effects.

I can deliver broadcast-ready mixes to clients’ audio specifications – so it’s very possible I can simply make your project’s soundtrack happen, which means you can simplify your workflow and squeeze more from your budget.

If you’ve got a project you think I can help with, I’m super keen to discuss ().

Here’s some portfolio – click through for the stories behind the projects.
